The Sacramento International Film Festival in association with Access Sacramento is proud to present a full festival preview, this Thursday at 9pm on channel 17.

The program is called Sound Waves, an hour-long variety entertainment show produced in San Francisco and aired in markets throughout California and beyond. This week, Soundwaves focuses exclusively on the Sacramento festival featuring clips, interviews and details of 70 films from around the world.

Learn about exciting programs like Platoon, Last Emperor producer John Daly's new film, The Aryan Couple starring Academy Award winner, Martin Landau. Learn also about the incredible local programs like Nor-Cal All Stars or the touching documentary Homecoming.

Sound Waves producer Dennis Willis works each week to bring shows featuring the hottest in music, art and culture with a decidedly "Nor-Cal" twist. When asked why Sound Waves chose the Sacramento Film Festival, Mr. Willis replied "It's a no brainer! To not cover this festival would have been a mistake for us. We have heard so much about the event, we just had to do it." In addition to Sound Waves TV, Mr. Willis also hosts a popular website, www.soundwavescinema.com, focusing exclusively on reviews and highlights for upcoming Hollywood and independent releases.

For full details about this year's Sacramento International Film Festival tune in to Sound Waves, 9pm Thursday, March 24th and again, 9pm Thursday March 31st. If you live in the San Francisco Bay area or another market go to the soundwaves website for detail about your local listings and air times.
