THE DELTA KING
Visitors to Downtown Sacramento often site the Delta King as one of the best hotel experiences in the area. A converted riverboat, the Delta King stays permanently docked at the edge of Old Sacramento, the city's historic district. The Delta King is located within a mile of the the Crocker Art Museum, the Railroad Museum, and the Downtown Westfield Mall. Reserve your room as soon as possible in advance as space goes quickly.

Area Attractions
OLD SACRAMENTO
Located downtown and bordered by Interstate 5, Capitol Mall, and the Sacramento River, Old Sacramento, is hold to more than 125 boutique shops selling souvenirs, art, gifts, jewelry and home decor on the boardwalk set amongst Gold Rush-era buildings, dozens of restaurants, clubs, museums and the Sacramento River. Be sure to check out Evangeline's novelty shop and Stage Nine, seller of movie memorabilia.
SUTTER'S FORT
Built by Swiss immigrant John Sutter in the early 1800s, Sutter's Fort was known for providing refuge and hospitality to weary travelers. Overrun by miners during the Gold Rush, Sutter's Fort has now been restored and is open for tours seven days a week.

CROCKER ART MUSEUM
Doubling as a historic monument and a museum, the Crocker mansion has undergone several additions since its original purchase in 1868. Setting modern architecture next to 19th century design, the Crocker unveiled its newest wing in 2010 and is home to the works of California artists as well as permanent collections from around the world.
CALIFORNIA AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM
Formerly known as the Towe Auto Museum, this establishment houses over 125 vehicles made between 1904 and 2007, including a Nascar racer, a Ford Model T Snowmobile, and a 1987 Lamborghini Countach. In 2009, the museum also opened its "Going Green" exhibit, which showcases clean fuel alternatives.

Located at the corner of 16th and L Streets in Downtown Sacramento, Mix is a popular after hours spot for festival goers. Offering excellent food and music, Mix has a rooftop lounge with a great view of the city, but leave your sneakers at home -- all patrons are expected to dress to impress.
